David is experienced in all facets of labor and employment law. He has vast experience defending businesses in charges and lawsuits alleging discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, § 1981, § 1983, ADEA and the ADA. David has successfully advised clients in defeating union organizational campaigns and in defending ULP charges. He has also represented clients facing audits by the OFCCP and complaints lodged with OSHA. One of David's specialties is charge and lawsuit avoidance by advising clients before an employment decision is made.
The firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group is experienced in handling the following types of matters:
- Federal employment discrimination charges and actions: Title VII, Sections 1981, 1981a, and 1983, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Readjustment Act
- Employee Retirement Income Security Act litigation: Federal jurisdiction / preemption / defense of claims for benefits and breaches of fiduciary duty
